Municipal Programs

Farmer Pirates Compost works with municipalities to implement pilot programs and offer composting services to their residents. Pilot programs are fully customizable and offer a huge benefit in understanding the composting interests and usage of residents in an area. Municipal Pilots Currently in Progress:

Buffalo's Scrap It! Curbside

The City of Buffalo and Farmer Pirates Compost have teamed up to bring organics recycling to 2000 residents in Buffalo as part of it's new FREE Scrap It! Curbside Pilot Program.

Hamburg Composts

The Town of Hamburg and Farmer Pirates have partnered to offer a food scrap drop off for up to 120 residents! This pilot will last one year. 

West Seneca Pilot Phase II

Phase I of the pilot took place for four months in 2023. Due to positive feedback at the conclusion of Phase I, the Town of West Seneca has continued the pilot into Phase II, which will take place for one year.
